We offer a variety of services at Front Range Pool Table Co. We have set prices for most of these services, but there are circumstances, which can affect the standard rate. On this page we want to let you know what services are available and the information you can have ready for us so we can give you a firm price.
1. A big part of our business is moving tables from one residence to another. This usually happens when someone sells their home and moves, or sells their pool table to another party, or purchases a used table.
We need to know the size of your table being moved. (Usually a 7', 8' or 9' table.)Regulation size only means it is twice as long as it is wide, so we need more information than just regulation size.
Most home tables have three pieces of slate. Slate is extremely heavy and it is easier to move when in sections. Please let us know if it is NOT a three-piece slate as we will need more manpower for a one piece slate. (Usually one piece slates are used commercially, but some older home tables were built that way also.)
Next it helps if you know the Brand of table you own. This may seem trivial, but it's important to us because all tables are not created equal.
Some brands are made well. They come apart and go back together with precision. Other tables can be more difficult and certain tables have a zillion parts and take much longer to reassemble.
We use Bees Wax to bond & blend the seams of your slate. It is the oldest and still the best way to get a smooth seam on your pool table and that is one of the most important ingredients for a great play surface.
Last but not least we need to know where to pick the table up and where we will deliver it too. There is no extra charge for deliveries in the tri-city area. Fort Collins , Greeley , Loveland and most places in between.
Outside that area we do charge for mileage and time.
2. Recovers are a big part of our business. We need most of the same info for a recover as for the move.
We offer a large variety of cloth. We usually use Titan cloth from Championship on most of our tables because it is a fast, yet durable cloth with a lot of color choices. Go to Championship Billiards to check out the color choices available.
We will also be happy to show you all the exciting choices you have with cloths today.
If your pockets are showing their age along with the cloth, we have hundreds of choices here too.
New rail rubbers will really wake up your table. These can degrade with time and loose their bounce, slowing down the game and causing unpredictable play.
We can show you an array of restoration projects completed and we can let you know if your table is worth restoring.
